“If you think of this world as a place intended simply for our happiness, you find it quite intolerable. Think of it as a place of training and correction and it’s not so bad.” ~C.S. Lewis
Tiny spaces and tiny homes are the rage right now. They are cute but they are tiny. After awhile they feel claustrophobic.
Our life on this earth is tiny too. It is tiny compared to the vastness of Eternity.
Pain and pressure make this life claustrophobic. Jesus understands this because He left His vastness for our tiny. Jesus overcame our tiny and is busy preparing a place for those who love Him (John 14).
It will not be tiny.
The vastness of Eternity will consume Death. It will wipe away every tear and it will erase sickness and present pain (Revelation 21). And we will finally understand the tiny that boggles us now.
Today is tiny. Tomorrow is tiny. It may not feel like it. But God isn’t asking us to fix our eyes or rest our feelings on what is tiny. No, He is asking us to fix our eyes on Him and on the vastness that He is and the vastness that is to come (Colossians 3). Be encouraged, fellow tiny space dweller. Tiny is for training. And tiny is only temporary.

Beautiful Friend, thanks for this reminder of the perspective we need to have on life. It’s a great one!
I’m praying for your amazing kiddos as they start school! I get anxious every year as mine do (meet the teacher is today in ABQ!!), but God is always good and provides what they need each year.
Love you and MISS YOU!!!!!!
