Are you currently in your 20s, or were they a few (or many) years ago?
If you could sum up your 20s with one word what would it be?
Mine would be: CHANGE
Today, I want to introduce you to my friend Renee. She is also known as the “Devotional Diva” and is passionate about ministering to women in their 20s. She and I share the blessing of being single waaayyy, waaayyy, waaayyy, longer than we thought was necessary! So naturally, we have become friends and I am honored to share what happened during the chaos of my 20s on her blog today.
“It all started with a mini cactus and a pit in my stomach…
While I was busy chasing my dreams, God chased me. At the height of my perceived awesomeness, God intervened…” Click here to read more

So very blessed by your sharing, Tracy and I am reminded how our precious Lord takes all the ashes of our lives and He shines and raises up all the glorious beauty in our lives for HIM, for all HE believes needs to occur for others to see HIM shine in us and through us! That is exactly what I see HIM doing in your life! Keep on Keepin ON you are a mighty Proverb 31 woman! Reminding you that all of you and your family members are in my prayers!

Thank you Terry! Your encouragement and prayers are a tremendous blessing to me. I will “keep on keepin on” because the Lord will help and sustain me. Praise Him (Psalm 73:25-26) Have a blessed day 🙂

Hi Tracy! Just saw your guest post on Renee’s blog featured on Faith Village (in other words, I got here through the grapevine) but just had to stop by and say hi since you mentioned New Mexico. I was born and raised in the town adjacent to Cannon Air Force Base, so I was on the other, staying side of the military’s constant moving and change. That is, until college, and then most recently and relevant to your post, moving to Alabama for my first job a year ago. Though I ran away from “The Land of Entrapment” as my sister and I used to call it, God is still using the foresty hills of Alabama to teach me about desert seasons. 🙂 Turns out He likes irony as well as straight-up metaphor. ha.

Hi Jenna! I am so blessed you stop by-thank you :). I love that you wrote: “The Land of Entrapment”-you are awesome!:) Please let me know if there is a specific way I can be praying for you during this “desert” season. Hang in there my friend…God is at work!

Thanks for the encouragement!
haha yeah… we may or may not have had alternate lyrics to the state song as well. 😉
As far as prayer goes, my theme verse for this “Alabama Adventure” is Hosea 2:14 so I guess just that I would hear Him speaking in this green tree-filled “desert” of mine. Praying it over you too, as well, Sister-in-Him.

Jenna: I have not read Hosea for a while now. Thank you for leading me back there…what a beautiful verse. Check out verse 19 too when you get a chance…so beautiful. If it God says it, He means it. We are betrothed to Him forever…amen and amen. Thank you for praying for me sister. Please keep in touch so I know how your adventure in Alabama is going. Blessings 🙂
