Some of you may remember the following post. It resonated with many of you. I have felt “blah” before… and “blah” is back. Maybe it’s a combo of allergies, politics, and the tragedies that happened in Waco and at the Boston Marathon last week. I don’t really know!
Perhaps you can relate. It’s ok if you can.
God knows and He sees. He loves us unconditionally.
How are you feeling as we enter into this week? Hopeful, scared, excited, or tired? Let me know in the comment section below, and let’s be praying for one another…
**************************
I had difficulty praying yesterday.
My mind was all over the place. I wasn’t angry. I wasn’t tired. I just felt blah…
Some days are like that, aren’t they?
While Katie was napping, I turned on my ipod. I listened to songs about God’s faithfulness, love, and power.
The craziness in my mind started to cease. My soul began to stir.
While I didn’t do a lot of praying yesterday, I did do a lot of singing. Sometimes with a smile, and sometimes through tears.
Oh how I pray that God was blessed!
So my friend, perhaps you have a lot to say to God today. Maybe you don’t. Maybe you are blah too. Either way, I encourage you to listen to the following song…
Blessing His Holy name today,
“Praise the LORD, my soul;
all my inmost being; praise His holy name.”
~Psalm 103:1, NIV
Song: 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord, O My Soul)

He knows how to make “blah” okay… learning to rest and not fight it really but give it to Him and keep moving forward. Love you girl! ~Blessings today, Amy

I just wish everyone could hear Chad and Tracy’s children (my grandchildren) sing this song. Four old Jack and two year old Katie sing this song in the car from their little hearts straight to Jesus and it is humbling to me to hear these children worship God through singing praise songs to Him. What a great way to teach toddlers to praise Jesus, by singing scripture.
Tracy says
This is their favorite song Debbie- I love hearing them sing! I believe it blesses God to hear His children sing their hearts out to Him too! Even if that heart is broken or blah. Love you 🙂

It was such a tough week. I think we’ve all been a little Blah during that week, to say the least. Just keep Praying! I know, I watched too much news last week and was very Blah at times. Have a Blessed Week. Jackie B

Love that song! I know I’m moved when I hear children sing, I can only imagine how He hears them…and us too, since we’re His children. 🙂
