Motherhood is full of sweet and well, stinky moments. With a touch of humor, I am sharing about one of those stinky moments over at JoyBuilders today. I met it’s founder, Christy Osborn, several years ago when I attended Scottsdale Bible Church. I recently met Christy for lunch, and ended up talking with her for over 4 hours! She is awesome and is a sought after Bible teacher and mentor. So come join us as we talk about diapers, faith, and joy in the Lord. I believe there is a connection 🙂
Here’s an excerpt:
On my own episode of How It’s Made I have learned that there are an infinite number of “polymer particles” that absorb moisture inside a disposable diaper. I am sure that the diaper company concluded that these “polymer particles” can hold their own against the effects of drinking an entire Sippy cup before nap time.
My two year old daughter can prove otherwise…
On several beautiful occasions, I have gone in to pick up my distraught princess from her nap, only to smell and feel her 10lb diaper. As I start to change her I notice a million tiny “polymer particles” flowing out of her diaper into the inside of her pant legs and onto the sheets around her.
Katie and I are joyless because there’s a leak.
