Dearest reader and friend,
I filmed a short video blog so we can have a heart to heart. This is my attempt at giving a virtual hug to those of you that have recently lost a loved one after a season of prolonged illness, or for those who are about to lose a loved one. FYI- For those of you who are not in this season, please jump down to the second video blog below, for that one may encourage you more!
When I do a video blog, I usually put on my “Bible teacher hat” and bring out the notes. Today, I am simply sharing with you as if we were talking on my couch with coffee mugs in hand. My heart breaks for you and I am sorry for the loss you are experiencing. There is nothing easy or fun about grief. We are splendidly and uniquely different, and we will handle our pain and grief differently. I pray that you will find encouragement to keep going today…
For those who are not experiencing grief/loss:
Perhaps you are not experiencing loss, but find yourself puzzled by the events that are going on in the world, or in the lives of those you love. In the following video blog that I posted on May 4th, 2012, I take a look at Deuteronomy 29:29 and why the “secret” things of God leave us puzzled.
Thank you for listening today. God bless,

Thank you Shannon for listening today and for walking through this with me! It’s been a journey full of ups and downs hasn’t it? But look at what God has taught both of us! Whew… So thankful for your faithful and gracious friendship. Love you too 🙂
