I made it back from She Speaks 2012!
In my last blog post I mentioned several prayer requests, and I thank you for your prayers. Chad survived his time with our toddlers-what a man! I had the honor of meeting amazing women from all over the United States. I prayed with some of them by the elevators, bathrooms, and in the hallways of our hotel. God’s presence was EVIDENT throughout the entire weekend. These women, most of them strangers, became family by the end of 48 hours.
This is what happens when the love of God is unleashed…
In the moments where all of 650 women sang:
“Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me…
My chains are gone, I’ve been set free, My Savior God, has ransomed me,”
I witnessed glimpses of Heaven here on Earth.
WOW is all I can say…
The main thing I took away from the conference? It was not a to do list, or feedback on how I can improve my speaking or writing ability (although I did learn those too).

If you were to meet me in person, you would notice that my voice is loud and my personality is well, bubbly. However, my only chance to film is during Jackson’s and Katie’s naptime. Hence the quiet and calm side of me presented in most of my video blogs. I just wanted to note this, in order to ease the minds of those who know me well. They consistently text or call to see if I am sick whenever I post a video blog. {chuckle} No, this IS the season I am in. I love it:)

Father God, as I listened and watch my dear friend Tracy speak Your Words from her heart this morning, I wanted to come before You in this prayer and ask that You flood your blessings into each family member and that You will remind each of them how very special Your love is for them as they live out their lives for YOU! Because when I see each of them, I can see YOU very strongly in their life and I wanted to bring my praise and glory to the foot of your Cross this morning from me as well, as You empower them and me to shine for YOU! I know there are times when I fail to praise YOU and recognize all You do for me. I am so blessed to be reminded of that this morning through Tracy’s words! Empower each of us Jesus this day to walk in Your light and live out Your journey for You! In Your Precious Name, I Pray! AMEN
